About This Formula

Hair loss and thinning are rarely just cosmetic concerns. In clinic, I see how deeply they affect confidence, identity, and overall wellbeing. This blend was formulated to address the root causes: hormonal imbalance, poor scalp circulation, nutrient deficiency, and follicle inflammation. Rather than a topical approach, SU CHI HAIR works from the inside, delivering therapeutic botanicals to the follicle through the bloodstream.

The formula centres on three pillars. First, hormone balance: Spearmint has clinically demonstrated anti-androgenic activity, supporting women with androgen-related hair thinning. Second, circulation: Hibiscus and Rosemary drive blood flow to the scalp, creating the conditions follicles need to thrive. Third, mineralisation: Nettle and Horsetail are among the most mineral-dense herbs available, delivering silica, iron, and sulfur compounds that directly support hair shaft integrity. Burdock completes the blend by clearing the eliminatory channels that, when congested, can compromise follicle health from below.

Results are cumulative. Most clients notice changes within 6 to 8 weeks of consistent daily use.

Key Ingredients

Spearmint (Mentha spicata)

Clinically studied for anti-androgenic activity, Spearmint supports hormone-related hair loss by moderating androgen levels. Particularly beneficial for women experiencing pattern thinning linked to elevated androgens.

Hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa)

Rich in antioxidants and organic acids, Hibiscus supports scalp microcirculation and follicle tone. Its vibrant anthocyanins help protect follicle tissue from oxidative stress that accelerates thinning.

Nettle (Urtica dioica)

One of nature's most mineral-dense herbs. Nettle delivers iron, silicon, and sulfur compounds that directly support hair shaft structure, follicle nourishment, and natural growth cycles.

Horsetail (Equisetum arvense)

An exceptional source of bioavailable silica, Horsetail supports hair strength, elasticity, and resistance to breakage. Silica is essential for keratin production, the structural protein of the hair shaft.

Burdock (Arctium lappa)

A gentle but effective blood and lymph cleanser, Burdock supports the natural elimination pathways that, when sluggish, can compromise follicle health. It also soothes scalp inflammation from within.

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)

Clinically studied alongside minoxidil for scalp circulation support, Rosemary stimulates blood flow to follicles and has demonstrated comparable results in peer-reviewed trials. A cornerstone of evidence-based hair care.

Water Temperature

95 to 100°C

Steep Time

Best Time of Day

Frequency

1 to 2 cups daily

Use 1 heaped teaspoon (approximately 3g) per cup. A longer steep time draws out the full mineral content from Nettle and Horsetail. Results are cumulative: allow 6 to 8 weeks of consistent daily use before assessing.

Contraindications & Safety

Pregnancy Horsetail is best avoided during pregnancy. Consult your healthcare practitioner before use.
Long-Term Use Horsetail contains thiaminase, an enzyme that can deplete Vitamin B1 with continuous daily use. This blend is best used in 4 to 8 week courses with a break of 2 to 4 weeks before resuming.
Breastfeeding Generally considered safe. Consult your practitioner if you have any concerns.
Allergies If you are sensitive to the Asteraceae (daisy) family, monitor your response to Rosemary, which shares some botanical markers. Discontinue if any reaction occurs.
