Clear, radiant skin is rarely just a topical issue. In clinic, I see it as a reflection of internal balance: the state of the nervous system, hormone levels, gut function, and how efficiently the body clears waste and inflammation. SU CHI SKIN was formulated to address all of these layers from within, using herbs with a long history of skin-specific therapeutic action.
At its heart, this blend recognises the nervous-skin connection. Stress is one of the most overlooked drivers of skin disruption, and Lemon Balm addresses this directly, gently calming the nervous system without sedation. Hibiscus delivers antioxidant protection and improves microcirculation, bringing nutrients to the skin's surface. Spearmint modulates androgens, supporting those prone to hormonal breakout patterns. Calendula soothes from within, while Gotu Kola encourages collagen synthesis and improves elasticity at a structural level. Blue Pea Flower, rich in anthocyanins, provides deep antioxidant defence and gives the blend its distinctively beautiful blue-violet colour when brewed.
This formula is most effective when used consistently. Most clients begin noticing a shift in skin clarity and tone within 4 to 6 weeks.
Addresses the nervous-skin connection with gentle precision. Stress elevates cortisol, which drives inflammation and disrupts the skin barrier. Lemon Balm calms this response, helping to break the cycle of stress-related skin flares.
A potent antioxidant and circulatory herb, Hibiscus supports skin tone and radiance by improving blood flow to dermal layers. Its organic acids also support gentle exfoliation of the skin microbiome from within.
Clinically studied for its anti-androgenic properties, Spearmint is particularly effective for hormonal breakout patterns. It modulates androgen activity, helping to reduce the excess sebum production that drives congestion and inflammation.
A warming circulatory herb with broad anti-inflammatory action. Ginger enhances peripheral blood flow, ensuring that nutrients and the skin-supporting herbs in this blend are well-delivered to the skin's surface layers.
A classic skin herb with gentle anti-inflammatory and lymphatic-supporting properties. Calendula works internally to reduce the systemic inflammation that manifests as redness, congestion, and uneven skin tone.
Rich in anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins, Blue Pea Flower provides exceptional antioxidant and anti-inflammatory support. It also gives the brew its beautiful blue-violet colour, an indication of the high flavonoid content within.
Traditionally used for longevity and skin health across Asia, Gotu Kola stimulates collagen synthesis, improves skin elasticity, and supports microcirculation. It is one of the few herbs with direct evidence for improving skin repair at a structural level.
